Your task will be to recreate the drawing of the Biomes on Page 166 of the text, but in an x-y graph format. (Cartesian Coordinate System) This graph will show where the Biomes fit in the environment in terms of Temperature and Precipitation 1. Put Temperature on the y-axis with cold on the lower left corner and hot on the upper left corner, as shown. 2. Put Precipitation on the x-axis with dry on the lower left corner and wet on the lower right corner, as shown. 3. Write the Biome Name in its correct area of the graph. There are 10 Biomes. 4. Underneath the name, List an Animal and an Adaptation that it has for this biome. 5. Underneath the organism and its adaptation, list a Plant and an Adaptation that it has for this biome. 6. The Animals, Plants Species, and their Adaptations can be found in the textbook on Pages 168 to 178. 7. Draw Animals and Plants where they belong in the graph. Note: This project will be graded on accuracy, completion of all parts, neatness, and aesthetics (how nice it looks), so do a good job on it. |
