-the physical quantities such as length, mass, and time and how they can be used to describe the universe

-the nature, composition, and resolution of forces

-rectilinear motion, curvilinear motion, and the relationship of forces to the motion of bodies

-energy, momentum, and their conservation

-the kinetic theory of matter

-the structure and properties of atoms

-the bombardment, fission, and fusion of the nuclei of atoms.

-temperature, heat, and their relationship to matter

-wave motion and how it can transfer energy

-the nature of light
