1-Things that should be put onto your poster are:

A chart of the planets listing facts about them such as distance from the sun, size period of revolution, etc. A sample chart is on Page 339 of your text. dont limit yourself to this chart.

A chart or diagram showing Keplers Laws

A table showing important stars and some facts about them.

A diagram showing the earth, the moon, and its phases such as on page 370.

2-Other diagrams charts and tables may be added to your chart such as:

A diagram showing eclipses

A map of the moon

Halleys Comet orbit

Your own idea

3-This project will be graded for neatness, accuracy, and beauty. Bring colored pencils or markers to enhance the beauty of your chart.


NOTE: You only get one piece of posterboard. Draw everything in pencil first until you have it the way that you want it. Then color it. Dont make an early mistake with ink or marker and ruin the beauty of your project.

Every member of the group will receive the same grade.
